Flight Division Labs

The real world.
A new testing ground.

We’re developing ways to bring real environments and real aircraft into simulation. Drone engineering, experimental systems, and applied R&D.

Built around
your reality.

Flight Division Labs is the B2B arm of Flight Division. We’re open to commercial projects and research collaborations across simulation, aircraft development, and drone systems.

Your environment.
Flyable, virtually.

We’re developing a scanning and reconstruction pipeline to bring real places into an FPV simulator, so pilots can explore a site, rehearse a route, or train before flying there.

This is experimental work. Reconstruction quality and suitability for flight simulation still need to be validated across different environments.

Your aircraft.
Measured, then modeled.

Our aircraft R&D starts with a thrust-testing rig we’re developing. The aim is to use physical measurements to build and refine a virtual counterpart of a real drone.

A 1:1 match in flight behavior is the ambition. The rig has yet to be built, and model accuracy will need to be tested against the real aircraft under defined conditions.

Your project.
Beyond simulation.

Custom drone systems, commercial applications, and research. We’re open to prototype development and engineering projects that bring hardware and software together.

Our research interests include autonomous flight, AI, perception, and control. Start with the task you need a drone to perform.

From the test rig
to the simulator.

A convincing model takes more than matching the shape. Thrust, response, and handling need to reflect the aircraft you actually fly.

We’re developing that connection between physical testing and simulation. The next steps are to build the rig, collect measurements, and test how closely an experimental model can reproduce them.
