Privacy Policy

Flight Division is operated by Valentin Cohere. This policy explains what information we collect when you use flightdivision.com (the site), our browser-based FPV simulator, and related services, and how we use it.

Who this covers

This policy applies to visitors, people who contact us, people who subscribe to lead magnets or downloads, administrators who sign in to manage the site, and (when available) people who create accounts or play online.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact form. Name, email address, subject, and message when you write to us via Contact.
• Lead magnets and downloads. Email address (and any optional fields on the form) when you request a download or resource. We use Resend to deliver email and may add you to a related audience segment.
• Admin authentication. Email address for magic-link sign-in (Supabase Auth) for people with admin access. Public simulator use does not require an account today.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. In production we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example page views). This is used to improve the site, not to build advertising profiles.
• Affiliate click metadata. When you follow an affiliate redirect on this site, we may store a salted hash of the browser user agent and related non-identifying context so we can measure clicks. We do not store your IP address for that purpose.
• Simulator preferences on your device. The simulator stores settings, lesson progress, and similar data in your browser local storage. That data stays on your device unless a future feature syncs it to an account you choose to create.
• Cookies and similar technology. Auth cookies may be set when an admin signs in. Analytics providers may use cookies or similar storage as described in their documentation. We do not run third-party ad trackers on the public site today.

• Operate and secure admin access
• Measure site usage and affiliate performance
• Improve the simulator, lessons, and content
• When accounts or online play ship: create and maintain your account, enable multiplayer or shared features you opt into, and enforce our Terms

Sharing

We use processors that help us run the product, including Supabase (database, auth, storage), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of Flight Division, our users, or the public.

Retention

Contact messages and lead emails are kept as long as needed to provide the service and for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your email from our lists via Contact. Admin account data is kept while access is active. Device-local simulator data remains until you clear it in the browser.

Your choices

• You can use the public simulator without creating an account or giving us an email address.
• You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser at any time.
• To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold (for example a lead-magnet email), contact us via Contact.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the site you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes (including when accounts or online play launch). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
