These Terms of Use govern your access to Flight Division (operated by Valentin Cohere), including flightdivision.com, our browser-based FPV simulator, blog, and related services. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

Flight Division provides educational content and a free, browser-based FPV flight simulator with structured lessons. Features may change over time. We may add accounts, online or multiplayer play, downloads, and other tools. Some features may require agreeing to additional terms when they launch.

Simulator and real-world flying

The simulator is a training and practice tool. It is not a substitute for real-world flight instruction, licensing, or compliance with aviation and local laws. You are solely responsible for how you fly any real aircraft or drone, including following all applicable regulations and safety practices. We are not liable for damage, injury, or legal consequences arising from real-world flight.

Accounts and online play (when available)

Public simulator use does not require an account today. If we offer accounts or online play later:

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must not harass other players, cheat in ways that disrupt shared sessions, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service to break the law.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Probe, scan, or attack the site or infrastructure, or attempt to bypass security
• Scrape or copy the service in bulk in a way that burdens our systems, except as allowed by ordinary search indexing
• Reverse engineer the simulator beyond what applicable law permits
• Use the site to distribute malware or illegal content
• Misrepresent affiliation with Flight Division

Content and intellectual property

The site, simulator, lessons, branding, and original content are owned by Flight Division or our licensors. You may use the public site and simulator for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not republish our lesson curriculum, simulator code, or substantial copies of our guides without permission, except for ordinary personal use and fair use under applicable law.

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the product without obligation to you.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links may be affiliate links. See our Affiliate disclosure. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and simulator are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flight Division and Valentin Cohere will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or simulator. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any), whichever is greater.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flight Division and Valentin Cohere from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your real-world flying, or your violation of these terms.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms, change or discontinue features, or restrict access at any time. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.
